There’s No Time Like the Present to Start Planning Spring Projects!
In the spring, summer and fall of 2020 Heinen handled a record number of new outdoor projects. 2020 has been a year where most everyone has been spending more time in and around their homes and, no surprise, that extra time at home led to homeowners taking action on projects that would make their homes more comfortable – and, outdoor living areas were no exception. Planning ahead also allows preordering trees, shrubs, and other plants as well as reserving custom colors for patio stone and pavers that might be in short supply during the busy spring and summer seasons. Also, the sooner you start planning your outdoor project, the sooner your landscape improvements can be complete!
Additionally, some spring blooming plants actually must be planted in the fall. Tulips, daffodils, crocus and other bulbs start their growing process during the colder months so it’s essential to get them planted in the fall.
