2016 has been a great year, Heinen Landscape has been busier than ever and we can’t thank you all enough for your continued support! There were so many great projects Heinen Landscape did this year, we thought we’d share a few.

ack in August, The Children’s Center for the Visually Impaired (CCVI) reached out for a bid to irrigate their new Children’s Sensory Garden. We knew this was a very special place – and a very special opportunity. In fact, the Heinen team decided to donate a fair amount of time and expenses pro bono to the cause. The garden is a great way for students with visual and other disabilities to really touch and feel the textures of Kansas City urban streetscapes.
We also completed a project at the Deauville Apartment complex in Prairie Village. We always love a good hardscape project – and this one was just that! We removed their old stone and timber retaining walls from along the steps. Then we built new retaining walls and installed new plants in their courtyard. The result was a winning combination of enhanced aesthetics and greatly improved functionality.
Lighting is a great way to enhance and revitalize your home’s curb appeal. And, the short days of falland winter make outdoor lighting even more essential to the safety of your family and protection of your personal property
