As 2017 ends, we wanted to take a minute to reflect on the year, thank you, our great customers, for your valued business and finally, our team of dedicated employees for their commitment to doing their best work for our customers!
KVC and Ball Conference Center
We started off the summer by installing brand new pavers for a beautiful and relaxing new outdoor patio area at the entrance to Ball Conference Center adding a final touch to a pro-bono project Heinen completed for Ball – a not for profit – in 2015. Said Michael Nicoski, Manager of Events and Operations at Ball, “The patio project really completes the vision we had for an entry plaza that would be really useful for Ball Conference Center guests – especially those wanting to take wedding reception photos to commemorate their special day. Heinen Landscape did a great job!”
Earth Day Tree Giveaway
To celebrate Earth Day this past April, Heinen donated a total of 1,000 Black Oak tree saplings children and families in the Prairie Village area! Customers shopping at the Hen House in Corinth Square on Saturday, April 22, picked their own sapling while enjoying complimentary refreshments and doughnuts. The giveaway was such a hit, we donated an additional 200 saplings to the students at Prairie Elementary School.
Landscape, Hardscape, Irrigation – Even a Wrought Iron Fence and Evergreen Trees Installation
Heinen’s dedicated outdoor living teams also stayed hard at work in 2017. One project included building a wrought iron fence and planting evergreens for the Johnson family (in addition to previous irrigation, landscape and retaining wall projects). A recent post from the Johnson’s on Twitter exclaimed, “I love my new fence!! Thanks to my guys from Heinen Landscape Irrigation they are the best!” I can truly say, “it was our pleasure!”
