Heinen Landscape was happy to do some courtyard landscaping at Bishop Miege High School in Roeland Park recently. Since the only way to get the necessary landscape machinery to the courtyard was through the school hallways, the project got off to an interesting start one recent Saturday morning as Heinen’s Ditch Witch Skid Steer navigated through the otherwise weekend-empty halls of Bishop Miege!
First up was removing the old walkways and installing new and improved walkways. As the weather improved a few weeks later, the Heinen crew was able to really bring the project to life with new plantings, new edging, new mulch, new rock, and on the near horizon is new sod – coming soon!

Here are a few photos of the work in progress, we’ll provide final photos after the sod goes in and the courtyard really comes alive!
